Chapter 1
How to deal with the worst of the worst callers:
So in my opinion, there are a few different callers that are extremely hard to deal with. My worst of the worst callers are Silent!! I hate them. They come on your line, stay for forty-five seconds and then leave. Each time you try something new and nothing works.
It always seems to happen at the end of your shift too. You are sitting there holding onto a seventeen minute hold time, working nine hours, and in the last six minutes of your work, this one asshole just screwed you all up!
In the next chapter I’ll tell you one of my thoughts of what SOME of these people are. As for the actual customers that just want to be quiet, there could be a few different reasons why they are silent. They are naturally shy, and honestly don’t know what to say. They could be minors. If you, as a phone sex operator hear a customer’s voice, and you know for a fact that this customer is a minor, you need to terminate that call immediately! If he or she does not hang up, you need to contact your supervisor and let them know that you have a minor on the phone.
Ninety percent of companies have two major rules. You can NEVER hang up on a customer. You can NEVER be rude to a customer. I will go more into how to handle a minor call later, for now, it’s back to silent callers. What the companies will train you to do when you say hello twice, and you don’t hear anything back, other than breathing, you are supposed to go into a sexy story.
This is why many of these silent callers, I believe are minors, because they know that if they speak, we’ll know and terminate the call, so they stay quiet. You are taught to immediately, after that second hello, do not continue to say hello, go into a sexy story. This is where literotica comes in handy. Now, don’t just read stories off of literotica, because most of these guys have already read these stories, and when you read, they are going to know that you are reading, and they are going to hang up.
Use literotica as a reference, and make your own stories up. Hopefully you’re lucky, and you’ll get a whisper message first telling you what the caller is wanting, and hopefully the caller knows how to handle the system, and actually selects the correct thing.
Example: Whisper message says domination. Go to literotica and find some of the domination storiess, and replace the person in the story with you, and write them out, replacing some of the things in the story with you. When telling stories, don’t talk about something that you did with someone else. Guys don’t necessarily want to hear about you with another guy, they want to imagine you with them that is the purpose of them calling. If they wanted to hear about a woman with another man, then porn would work with them.
The other kind of difficult caller are the super high ones. I am not talking about being high on weed. Those guys are laid back and fun. These men, that are difficult, are usually on cocaine, meth, crack, or speed.
They are on one subject, and then within a few seconds, on another subject, back to the first, then to a totally different one, and then asking you why you didn’t answer the question he asked fifteen minutes ago. They want you to constantly boost their ego, let them know that you are listening to them, and paying attention.
They think they are making sense, even though they aren’t. Pretend that you are enjoying every single word they are saying, even though they are driving you nuts. No matter what the conversation is, get excited with them. Most of the time, these guys will totally forget that they are even on a phone sex line. I’ve had guys ask in the middle of a call, wait, who are you? I always answer:
“Really? You forgot about me already? Remember you and I are getting to know each other? I gave you my number the other day. You forgot where we met didn’t you?” And act sort of like your feelings are slightly hurt, without making him feel too bad, where he hangs up on you. This can be tricky, and it needs practice, which only comes with experience.
